Privacy Policy
Spottra is in early development. This policy covers the waitlist and early access program. We will update it before the app launches, and we will tell you by email when it changes.
Who we are
Spottra is a professional networking platform being built in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this policy, “Spottra”, “we”, and “us” mean the Spottra founding team. You can reach us at hello@spottra.id.
What we collect
When you join early access, we collect what you type into the form:
- Full name and email address
- Current role, industry, and city
- Who you want to meet, what you can offer, and your primary networking goal
- Whether you want to be a beta tester, and your consent to receive product updates
We also receive basic technical information that every website gets, such as your browser type and the time of your visit. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
Why we use it
- To invite you to Spottra in curated batches and send you product updates you agreed to receive
- To understand who the early community is so the first matches are relevant
- To contact beta testers about feedback sessions
- To keep the program secure and prevent abuse
We process your data based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
AI and your data
We plan to use AI models, including Claude by Anthropic, to help structure profiles and explain matches inside the app. When that launches, AI will only work on information you choose to put in your profile, you will review what it produces before it is used, and AI will never send messages on your behalf. We will describe the providers we use in this policy before any AI feature goes live.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your answers as a talent or recruiting database without your explicit permission.
- We do not show your email address to other members.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the waitlist, such as email delivery and form hosting. They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose data if required by Indonesian law.
How long we keep it
We keep early access data until the program ends or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you do not join the app within 24 months of signing up, we delete your answers.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or stop receiving emails. Email hello@spottra.id and we will respond within 3 x 24 hours, as the law requires. Every email we send also has an unsubscribe link.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to early access data to the founding team. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will email you before the change takes effect.
